Killer Triggers by Joe Kenda DB111259

I listened to this read by Joe Kenda. He has such a dry sense of humor. Even though the subject matter is serious, this made me chuckle more than once. He talked about some of his famous cases, jokes included. He had a chapter on police canines which was quite humorous. Once again, if you have watched him on TV, this is a must read.

Before Dorothy by Hazel Gaynor DB130137

This is Auntie Em’s story, how she moved to Kansas and how Dorothy came to live with her and Henry. Emily went through a lot of turmoil due to moving to Kansas; bringing Dorothy into the family; and accepting the death of her sister. Finally, she comes to terms with what is the next step for her life; loving Dorothy; and the secrets she was keeping from Henry about her sister. There are many parallels to the movie mentioned in the story.
