Space exploration belongs to everyone. As we currently host our tactile exhibit, Experience the Cosmos: The James Webb Space Telescope Traveling Tactile Exhibit, we are always thrilled to connect our community with accessible science.
NASA is hosting a virtual event designed specifically for the blind and low-vision community on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM CDT (2:00 PM EDT) titled The RS-25 Engine and the Future of Artemis Missions. This interactive, two-hour session on Zoom offers an in-depth look into how NASA powers its missions back to the Moon.
Participants will view an audio-described video of an RS-25 engine test firing, join a live Q&A session with an RS-25 rocket engineer, and listen to a panel discussion exploring accessibility initiatives across space and STEM fields.
Registration & Details To attend, complete the NASA Registration Form. Zoom links will be sent to all registrants before the event, and a recording will be provided to everyone who signs up, even if you cannot join live. If you need assistance filling out the registration form, please contact NASA coordinator Thalia Patrinos at thalia.k.patrinos@nasa.gov, or read more on the Official NASA Event Page.
This event is free and open to everyone, so please share it with anyone who might be interested. And while you prepare for the webinar, don’t forget to drop by and explore our tactile space exhibit in person!
