Greetings Readers! Welcome to the first July edition of Library News. Summer is in full swing, and July is the perfect time to slow down, soak up the sunshine, and dive into a great book! Whether you’re enjoying long summer days at home or on the go, your library is here to keep you connected with stories, resources, and programs all season long. In this episode we discuss the Summer programming, BARD top ten fiction and much more!

Our Youth Summer Reading program is off to a great start and June was a busy month full of activities and programming where participants earned their Hope, Patience, Responsibility and Kindness badges. Learn more about the summer reading program at iowalibrary.blog.

Thrive Thursday was also off to a great start in June with visits from Debra Erickson from Blind Kitchen, Blake from Serenity Massage and Energywork, and Lenora Hagen, founder of Toadally Awesome Pets.
