The series is a hybrid, hands-on experience that helps build a personal Career Toolkit and features weekly guest speakers. Upcoming topics include medical and teaching fields.

This Thursday, we are excited to welcome Devin Constant, M.S.N., RN!

Devin Constant, M.S.N., RN brings a rich and dynamic background in nursing, healthcare education, and community leadership to our session. Her career journey started from the ground up as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in long-term care before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing right from Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU). Driven by a passion for acute care, she jumped into the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse, earning top certifications in trauma, cardiac, and pediatric life support (TNCC, ACLS, and PALS).

After discovering her love for teaching, she expanded her impact by earning a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Northern Kentucky University and spending three years guiding future healthcare professionals as an instructor and coordinator for an L.P.N. program. Today, she is back at her alma mater as a dedicated nursing educator. This transition made even sweeter by her recent recognition as a member of the 2025 Black Hills 40 Under 40 class!
Even while educating the next generation of nurses, she stays actively connected to patient care by working on the Progressive Care (step-down/telemetry) unit at the hospital to keep her skills sharp and up to date.

For Devin, the heart of nursing is connection and growth. As a former student at DWU, she loved the close-knit community and supportive professors. Now, as an educator, she loves DWU’s commitment to providing students with diverse pathways to success in the nursing field. When she isn’t teaching or at the hospital, she lives in Hill City with her husband, Tyler, and their two children. In her free time, she also enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling, and hitting the golf course (even if she claims she’s terrible at it!).

Devin Constant, M.S.N.,RN will be sharing her journey through bedside nursing and healthcare education, what it’s really like to work in emergency and progressive care, and how to build a flexible, rewarding career in healthcare.

Join us virtually or in-person this Thursday, July 16th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
