National Library Week: Monday

Library
Promotional header for National Library Week, an annual celebration of how libraries and library workers transform lives and strengthen communities. It invites readers to join the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled for a week of finding joy.

Reading in All Formats

Today is a day to celebrate accessible literacy, inviting readers and advocates to explore the power of choice through braille, audio, and large print. It’s about ensuring every story is available to every reader, in the format that fits them best. We thought the best way to do that would be to recap the resources used during 2025!

  • 2,437 titles were checked out

Large Print:

  • Over 10,000 titles available for check out

Audio:

  • Over 150,000 digital audio titles available for check out

  • 15,000 magazines were checked out
