IMC FAQ Friday: Returning Books to the Library

Each Friday the Instructional Materials Center Team will provide answers to questions asked by educators throughout the week in the IMC FAQ Friday post. We hope these are helpful as schools place orders for students who need accessible educational materials.

Do you need a handy list of books to be returned to our library? You can find this in Athena. Select the 2025-2026 school year, select the book icon from the left panel for Copies in Circulation, followed by Copies to Return.

Collection Material (non-consumable)

  • Comb bound braille books with covers, print/braille & large print books
  • Collection materials are returned Free Matter using the return mailing card the library uses to send students their materials. Simply flip the card over inside the pouch.

Non-Collection Material (consumable)

  • Print worksheets stapled to braille and large print materials to be written in and intended for a single use.
  • Non-Collection materials do not need to be returned to the library.
  • mailing label is used for non-collection materials.
