It’s not too late to sign up for the September Reading Challenge!
Today marks the beginning of National Literacy Month and we want to celebrate with a month-long reading challenge! The goal is simple: spend time each day reading and track your minutes. Whether you enjoy novels, nonfiction, or magazines, every minute counts!
Here’s how it works:
- Read what you love – braille books, e-books, or audiobooks all count.
- Track your minutes – keep a record of how long you read each day.
- Stay motivated – challenge yourself to read a little more each week.
- Celebrate your progress – at the end of the month, see just how much time you’ve spent on reading.
This challenge is a fun way to build a reading habit, explore new stories, or simply carve out more time for something you already love. And a great way to celebrate literacy and the love of reading.
So grab your favorite book (or discover a new one!) and start reading today. Let’s see how many minutes we can all read together!
Register here and we will send you a sample reading log to keep you on track! Or call the library and we can get you signed up! Once the month is over, you’ll have the chance to submit your total reading minutes and join in the celebration of our collective success!
