This holiday season—and in honor of World Braille Day on January 4th—share a message of inclusion, empowerment, and accessibility with our exclusive Braille is Beautiful and Making Strides, Moving Forward T-shirts.

Back by popular demand, these two shirts are again available for purchase! All shirts are crew neck and short sleeved. All sizing is unisex and all shirts are $25.00 + shipping. Go to the online store to order today! The store will close on December 7th and orders will be shipped directly to the address you provide when ordering.
The Braille is Beautiful shirts are ice blue with black lettering. The front of the t-shirt says in print: Braille is Beautiful circling a graphic of a rainbow with Braille is Beautiful in Braille underneath the rainbow. The back of the t-shirt says, Braille is Beautiful, in Braille and includes the logo of the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled.
The Making Strides, Moving Forward shirts are navy blue with a white graphic of a stick man figure and a white cane in the center. In white lettering the words Making Strides are arched over him and Moving Forward is in a straight line under him. Under that it says Iowa Department for the Blind est. 1925. The back of the t-shirt says, Making Strides, Moving Forward in Braille.
All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will benefit the Friends of the Iowa Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. The Friends have generously given the library money every year for library programs, 3D printers, equipment, and special projects.
