Save the date for the 20th Annual Iowa Regional Braille Challenge on February 14, 2026! The Braille Challenge is a program of the Braille Institute of America, Inc. and is the only academic competition of its kind for students who are blind or visually impaired. Developed by the Braille Institute 25 years ago, the program inspires students to practice and strengthen their braille literacy skills, which are vital to academic and career success.
Back again this year is the Foundational Category for early learners and non-competitive braille readers. We encourage every student to participate in the Braille Challenge because braille is for everyone. Come and be a part of the challenge!
