This week is National Friends of Libraries Week, and we are so grateful for our Friends of the Iowa Library for the Blind! Founded in 2005, The Friends of the Iowa Library for the Blind have spent the past 19 years providing us with support for our volunteers, the Summer Reading Program, The Braille Challenge, the purchasing of Sacred Texts, and the outfitting of our reading room! We will spend this week celebrating The Friends of the Library and everything that they have done and continue to do to support accessible reading across the state of Iowa. Thank you, Friends!
