Greetings Readers! Welcome to the second episode of the August 2024 edition of Library News.
In this episode, we discuss this month’s D-List the me, County and State Fairs, as well as our staff picks, Hyperion (DB33583), Parasite (DB77689), and We Are Legion: (We are Bob) (DB94129). The Library is also excited to announce our August Events:
- That All May eRead program at 6 p.m. via Zoom on Tuesday, August 27th. This new program will be held on the last Tuesday of every month and will focus on using the NLS Braille eReaders. Please contact the library for the Zoom link.
- The IDB Library was at the Iowa State Fair on the morning of August 14th and provided a great kids’ activity in the Kids’ Zone. We served over 120 kids and families with a fun and accessible Braille activity.
- The library will be closed on Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day.
