IMC FAQ Friday: Ordering Multiple Items

Each Friday the Instructional Materials Center Team will provide answers to questions asked by educators throughout the week in the IMC FAQ Friday post. We hope these are helpful as schools place orders for students who need accessible educational materials.

After creating your initial Athena order, be sure to note the Order ID. This will allow you to return to it if you need to exit Athena before submitting the order.

You can add multiple books, devices, and kits to your order. Once you’ve completed your first entry, click the “Add Books/Devices/Kits” button located above the Order Items table to include additional items. When your order is complete, select the “Submit Order” button.tch your files by subject and organize into subfolders by unit or chapter. Save as a compressed zip folder with the same title you will use on your order.

You will be brought to a page showing “Order Submitted Successfully.” From this page, you can create a new order or return to the home landing page.

You can easily track the status of your order items in Athena. On your home page, select the second to the last icon from the left panel, “Order Items.” This will bring up a complete list of each order item submitted for the school year, along with the status for each.
