The IMC Team is excited to announce that Athena, our new ordering portal for accessible educational materials, is now available.
Athena is the program that teachers and the IMC Team will use to order and produce materials. It is an easy to use ordering platform that allows for tracking of student orders by teachers and the IMC Team.
We also encourage School Districts to complete and have in place the memorandum of understanding available to take advantage of the cost assistance being provided by the Iowa Department for the Blind, as well as setting up the login information for Athena. Resources, Trainings and Virtual Office Hours:
- Check out the Training tab on our Ordering Materials page for Athena training videos and user guides.
- The IMC Staff hold virtual office hours via Zoom on Tuesdays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm and Thursdays from 8:30am – 9:30am.
- The IMC Monthly webinar on Thursday, October 6th at 3:00pm will be all about Athena, providing an overview, tips and other information on ordering student materials through the new program.
