To help us celebrate the 2026 Iowa Regional Braille Challenge on February 14, 2026, the Library is pleased to work with local, small business, The Side Garage, again this year for the Braille Challenge t-shirt. In honor of Valentine’s Day, the theme for 2026 is Love, Braille!
All shirts are crew neck and short sleeved. Shirts are heather bubble gum pink with red lettering. The front of the t-shirt has a graphic of a heart composed of red dots with the word Braille in braille in the center, with the words love, braille, in print near the bottom of the heart on the side. The back of the t-shirt says, love, braille, in braille and includes the logo of the Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled. All sizing is unisex and all shirts are $25.00 + shipping. Participants of the Braille Challenge will be provided with a t-shirt generously donated by the Friends of the Iowa Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will benefit the Friends of the Iowa Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and future Braille Challenges.
We are taking orders until Tuesday, February 3, 2026. You can choose to have your t-shirt shipped directly to you or you may pick it up at the Braille Challenge on Saturday, February 14th at the Iowa Department for the Blind. If you will not be at the Braille Challenge, please have the shirt shipped directly to you.
