At the Iowa Department for the Blind, we are proud to support the gainful employment of Blind entrepreneurs through our Business Enterprises Program (BEP) and Blind professionals through our Employment Services. Gainful employment is essential for financial and personal independence. The Iowa Department for the Blind believes that with the right skills and opportunities Blind people can perform nearly every job as competently and efficiently as their sighted colleagues.
