IMC FAQ Friday: Electronic Files

Imc Information

Each Friday the Instructional Materials Center Team will provide answers to questions asked by educators throughout the week in the IMC FAQ Friday post. We hope these are helpful as schools place orders for students who need accessible educational materials.

When scanning worksheets to upload in Athena, be sure they are scanned at 300 dpi or higher to ensure a quality scan. All pages must be clear, legible, and have the same page orientation. The file types we accept are PDF, Powerpoint, and Word. We cannot accept image files. If there are images you need, please embed them in a Word document.

Please batch your files by subject and organize into subfolders by unit or chapter. Save as a compressed zip folder with the same title you will use on your order.

  1. Open File Explorer (Windows Explorer).
  2. Select all files or folders you want to compress.
  3. Right-click on the file(s) or folder(s) > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

Fill out the pacing guide with the title and date needed for each set you are ordering. The print page range should be the number of print pages for each section or folder you have uploaded. Don’t forget to count the front & back of worksheets and don’t include blank pages. It’s not necessary to enter each file into the pacing guide. Instead, create a pacing guide row for each section or folder you upload.
