Each Friday the Instructional Materials Center Team will provide answers to questions asked by educators throughout the week in the IMC FAQ Friday post. We hope these are helpful as schools place orders for students who need accessible educational materials.
When searching for material by ISBN in Athena, book records matching your search criteria will be returned to view and select. Pay close attention to any book format details. The default for braille is contracted, single spaced, and interpoint. If you need the book in another format, such as double spaced and single sided, you will need to select the correct copy from the search results. Below is an example of a book available in both formats.
If no book records match the format you need, select “Make Book” to navigate to the page allowing you to request new material creation matching your requirements.
