Help IDB Celebrate 100 Years!

History

The Iowa Department for the Blind will host a public open house to celebrate its 100th anniversary next week on Wednesday, April 2! From 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm we invite you to join us in celebrating this historic milestone with hors d’oeurves, tours of the building and more! Be a part of the next 100 years by contributing your artistic skills to a collaborative art installation to be hung in the building. Free parking will be available in a parking lot off 4th Street across from the building. Our commitment to empowering individuals remains unwavering, and we are excited to build on our legacy by embracing new challenges and opportunities that will further enhance the lives blind Iowans.
