Elizabeth Perowsky Workshop and Luncheon

Each year, the Library and the Iowa Department for the Blind celebrates our dedicated volunteers with a special workshop and luncheon. As part of the Elizabeth Perowsky Volunteer Program, we recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting the Library throughout the year.

Our volunteers make a meaningful impact in countless ways. From sharing their time and talents to giving selflessly in service to others, their commitment reflects both their strength and generosity of spirit. Many work behind the scenes narrating books, transcribing braille, editing, shelving, processing materials, and more.
