Did you know that the Friends of the Iowa Library For the Blind helps us to pursue our mission by providing funding for specialized equipment, such as our two 3D Printers and cartridges, which can hold up to 20 audiobooks at a time?! Our 3D Printers work wonderfully in our Makerspace to provide physical models of everything from the statues in the Des Moines statue park to cars and rockets, and the cartridges allow us to deliver thousands of audiobooks to people across Iowa, bringing the library and literacy right to their door.
