November 2023 Peek-A-Box: All Things Fall

You can’t experience November without experiencing Fall!  Autumn is officially here!  The leaves are falling, the temperatures are dropping, the days are getting shorter, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  It’s a great time to settle in and read!  The books for this month all have the word “Fall” in the title.  See below for a sneak peek at the books included this month. Maybe you will discover a new favorite author or genre!

October 2023 Peek-A-Box: Creepin’ It Real

Peek-A-Box Logo, blue polka dot with a stack of books.With October comes Halloween and all things spooky!  This month’s Peek-A-Box is guaranteed to send your spine a-tingling.  We are “Creepin’ It Real” with spooky stories from all genres.  On your cartridge you will find the newest suspense novels, classic horror tales, psychological thrillers and more!

In your box you will find a Halloween themed tea towel, two ornaments – a jack-o-lantern and a ghost, 3D ghost and bat stickers, a jack-o-lantern tea light and a Halloween goodie bag filled with chocolate, candy corn and pretzels.

Discover your favorite creepy tale that will keep you awake at night!

August 2023 Peek-A-Box!

It’s the dog days of summer and we are celebrating with Animal August in this month’s Peek-A- Box!

In this month’s box you will find a dog chip/bag clip, a farm animal mini notepad, a mini hummingbird feeder, a silicone animal paw print ice cube tray, and snacks – animal crackers and Swedish fish.  And the books for Animal August all have an animal in the title.

This month we have everything you need for lounging poolside!  In your box you will find sunscreen, a beach towel, a flip flop bottle opener, a can koozie with the IDB logo, a wonderful Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled canvas tote bag, snacks, and of course don’t forget your books!  Below is a sneak peek of the books that will bring summer to you this month, even if you aren’t able to lounge poolside or head to the beach.
