The State Library of Iowa is excited to sponsor virtual visits in 2023 from each of the All Iowa Reads authors!
All Iowa Reads fosters a sense of unity through reading. Iowans are encouraged to come together in their communities to read and talk about a single book title in the same year.
There are three winning titles each year, an adult title, a teen title, and a kids title. The authors of the winning selections will offer free virtual author visits to the public.
- June 13th at 7:00pm with Sequoia Nagamatsu, How High We Go In the Dark (Adult Title) Register
- June 14th at 2:00 pm with Niki Smith, The Golden Hour (Kids Title) Register
- June 15th at 4:00pm with Angeline Boulley, Firekeeper’s Daughter (Teen Title) Register
All the webinars will be hosted by the State Library of Iowa and will last about an hour. The author will discuss the book and answer questions from attendees submitted in the chat window during the webinar.
Check out the All Iowa Reads site for further information.
All Iowa Reads is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of Iowa.
Call the library and request the All Iowa Reads titles! We have all three selections in audio, braille, and large print.
