Foreign Language Quarterly, a way to keep up with the foreign language books that the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) is adding to the collection. Foreign Language Quarterly is posted to the NLS website every three months and features titles uploaded to BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download).
Thanks to its participation in the Marrakesh Treaty and expanded book acquisition, NLS is adding more foreign language books to its catalog than ever before!
This past quarter, NLS added books in 24 unique languages: Arabic, Basque, Bulgarian, Chinese, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Urdu.
You can find a selection of the most popular foreign language titles recently added to the NLS collection in Foreign Language Quarterly (FLQ), an online publication found at www.loc.gov/nls/flq.
