April Showers
April is the time of year
when we get a lot of rain.
The flowers will soon bloom
and the trees will bud again.
It will soon be time for outdoor sports.
Baseball and softball alike.
You can finally get your bicycle out
or even take a hike.
More time will be spent outside
enjoying the nicer weather.
Hanging out with all your friends
and having fun together.
An activity with a friend,
or maybe even more.
Is to choose a book that you all want to read,
and watch your imagination soar.
Form your own book club.
See what everyone thought of the book.
Get everyone’s reaction,
of the direction the storyline took.
Whether you start a book club,
or read a book on your own.
Once you pick one up,
you won’t want to put it down.
