A Poem for March

Library staff member, Jodi, shares a poem with us each month honoring our volunteers, the library, and reading. Here is her poem for March.  Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Spring has sprung…

Spring has arrived,
and the birds are singing.
Soon we’ll have flowers
that the sun will be bringing.

The rain will start falling
and turn everything green.
It will wash away the debris
and things will be clean.

We’ll begin to sit outside,
to enjoy the morning air.
Drinking our coffee
in our favorite chair.

This is a great time
to do a little reading.
The most time you’ll have,
with the busy life that your leading.

Read a couple of chapters,
maybe three or four.
You won’t want to put it down,
you’ll want to read more.

Regardless,
of what you read or when.
You’ll find yourself more relaxed,
than you have ever been.
