March Makerspace Workshop was truly a gem of a good time. Sam and Amunique were able to create their incredible canvas art. They were introduced to a few new art techniques. Sprinkles of sparkle, textures of burlap added, and a rainbow blend of puffy paint dolloped each of their priceless designs. Oh, my we can’t forget about the gold foil. Thank you again to all the families that sent in your pictures from home!
Also, in March, we discovered how to do metal tooling, which by the way is metal art originated from Mexico. Have you ever heard of embossing 30-gauge aluminum foil into a smiley face? Well, if you signed up for March’s Makerspace you did. Each stylish metal art was hung by a string of beads with design.
Coming up next month, you don’t want to miss out on this, we are making Plaster of Paris Plant Holders. In celebration of spring, it is time to start planting and taking in the fresh scents of flowers in the air! How do we get ready for such an occasion, by making a Plaster of Paris Plant Holder but of course. Get Ready for a little mixing!
