November Youth Programs @ the Playground
What a splendid time we had at our Makerspace Monday virtual event. We were honored to have guest Amanda Drish who charmed all of us with the sounds of beautiful string instruments! It was a glorious time in deed! After we wiggled and swayed in our chairs we got busy creating beautiful textures of art on canvass! “Look out Picasso we have a new artist in town!” It was so much fun as we danced the paint across the canvass while taking in the sound of the violin! Don’t worry if you missed the program, you can watch the recording.
But wait, we have more creating to do @ the Playground! Are you ready to get busy; mixing, pouring, adding and scented sprinkles of the Thanksgiving season? Did I hear yes, well let me tell you what your Ms. Denise has up her sleeve, you will be creating “Cinnamon Scented Salt Dough Ornaments” made right in your own kitchen. No problem, we will do it together with special guest Ellie from our Summer Reading Program! It will be a mixed bag of treats to say the least!
